I'm Mike!

 

I founded "The Fitter Mind" because I really wanted to work with individuals and teams in a way that would be absolutely tailored to their needs and outcomes.

I spent many years working for organisations that needed to take a relatively generic approach to their clients. Effective enough, but not good enough.

​​

Training and development absolutely needs to be targeted at specific needs with understanding of the specific context of the participants and most importantly, it should never be about the "deliverer" but always about the employer.

​

Your people should be walking out of a training room with renewed energy for working for the company, not raving about the training company.

​​

For over 24 years, I’ve worked with global organisations, local SMEs and anything in between.

​

So I like to believe that I can draw on that experience to help you design training solutions specifically for your people and context, that just work.

​

Working with leaders and teams around the world has allowed me to facilitate thousands upon thousands of real conversations. I have learned so much from my participants and that knowledge allows me to engage in real conversations, about real issues, with real people.

This is not simply theory and models. It is the practical application of concepts, ideas and real life experience that

So now I get to work with people all over the world because they love working with me, and because I enjoy working with them! It allows me to connect with my network of colleagues when putting multi-location programmes together, and allows me to really build relationships for the future, as well as for today.

To be fit for purpose in the gym you need a fitter body and in today's world, I see people everywhere working out in the gym, jogging, cycling and doing other forms of physical activity.

I believe that when people think better, they lead better, communicate better, sell better, and live better.
